Masanori Hanada is an associate professor at the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics at Kyoto University. He received his Ph.D in physics from Kyoto University in 2007. He has been a postdoc at RIKEN Nishina Center, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and the University of Washington, an assistant professor at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). He is currently a visiting scholar at the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics and a visiting scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research interests include QCD and QCD-like theories, supersymmetric gauge theories as nonperturbative formations of superstring/M-theory. Recently he is also looking for an experimental realization of quantum gravitational systems.
