Abhiram Kidambi

Abhiram is a long term scientific visitor to the SITP.

His research interests are primarily understanding the relations between algebraic geometry and number theory using physics. This includes:

1. The relation between automorphic forms and black hole entropy
2. Moonshine phenomena in string compactification
3. Wall crossing phenomena in N = 2 supersymmetric QFT's
4. Dualities and the geometric Langlands program

Abhiram is also interested in three dimensional gravity, AdS/CFT and the relation between quantum information theory and black hole physics.

Outside of physics/mathematics, Abhiram enjoys triathlons, drumming, football (soccer) and surfing.
