The Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) is searching for postdoctoral fellows across the full range of theoretical physics. Particular areas of focus this year will include quantum field theory and string theory, cosmology and quantum gravity, model building and phenomenology and quantum information science. SITP enjoys fruitful interactions with the Q-FARM initiative in quantum sciences at Stanford, as well as with the Stanford mathematics department. Simons funded initiatives including It from Qubit, Modern Inflationary Cosmology, and Ultra-Quantum Matter are also all represented at Stanford and contribute to the lively atmosphere for postdocs in SITP.

The deadline for applications is November 15, 2021.

SITP postdoctoral applicants may also consider applying to the Stanford Science Fellows interdisciplinary postdoctoral scholar program.
