Klebanov-Strassler solution is a supergravity background that features an exponential hierarchy of scales. The KS solution also admits a holographic dual gauge theory description, in which the gauge theory is confining at low-energy. This solution has been a testing ground for many ideas, including supersymmetry breaking in flux compactifications. I will explain that one can study this background in string field theory in the large radius limit,  and obtain an agreement with the well known result of anti-D3-brane supersymmetry breaking by Kachru-Pearson-Verlinde. An important future work is to understand $\alpha'$ corrections to the supersymmetry breaking. This talk is based on an upcoming paper.
