Holographic Entanglement of Purification

This colloquium will be given by Professor Tadashi Takayanagi of Kyoto University.

Abstract: The entanglement of purification is a useful quantity which measures correlations between two subsystems for a mixed state. First, we would like to explain our conjecture on its holographic counterpart with several evidences. Next, we will present our recent results of numerical computations of entanglement of purification in a free scalar field theory.
