The Applied Physics/Physics Colloquia are held Tuesdays at 4:30 P.M. in Room 201 of the William R. Hewlett Teaching Center. Light refreshments are served in the Varian Building lobby at 4:15 P.M.

Prof. Ania Jayich of the University of California at Santa Barbara will give the October 8, 2019 Applied Physics/Physics colloquium entitled, “Quantum Sensing and Imaging with Diamond Spins.”
Prof. Reina Maruyama of Yale University will give the June 4, 2019 Applied Physics/Physics colloquium, entitled "Testing DAMA's long-standing claim for dark matter detection."
Prof. Irfan Siddiqi of the Univ. of California at Berkeley will give the May 28, 2019 Applied Physics/Physics colloquium entitled, "The Dawn of Superconducting Quantum Processors."
Professor Donna Strickland (University of Waterloo), co-recipient of the 2018 Physics Nobel Prize, will give the May 7, 2019 Applied Physics/Physics colloquium entitled, "From Nonlinear Optics to…
